Resident Volunteer - Visitor Services

Description:

Visitor center hosts greet visitors in Golden Gate's visitor center and help orient them to the park, its natural and cultural features, rules and regulations, and available programs. Distribute park maps and brochures, in addition to answering phones and performing other clerical tasks (cleaning and light maintenance duties as assigned). Volunteers sell parks passes, permits, firewood, and gift store items, and they assist with campground reservations, special events and other park programs. Attention to detail and customer service experience is desirable.

Amenities: Host site available for this position has electricity, water, and sewer hook ups. Cell phone and internet reception in the area is unreliable. Satellite reception is dependent upon set-up/provider.
