To begin serving as a valued volunteer, you must apply. Click the "Volunteer/Get Involved" button at the bottom of the page. Search and apply for the opportunities that you are most interested in and a staff member will contact you. Some roles may require screening, interviews, or other additional steps to be approved.
By clicking the "Sign Up" button, you are creating an account with your name, email, and phone number, but will not be an active volunteer. Creating an account is useful to sign up to attend public programs or to register for one-time volunteer projects and events. These can be found by clicking "Search for Activities."
When you volunteer with CPW, you can give back, get outside, and meet new friends, all while making a difference in your community.
Volunteers serve in a variety of roles, such as camp hosting, education and outreach, community science, habitat and trail work, maintenance and construction, wildlife projects, customer service, and much more!
Opportunities at state parks, state wildlife areas, fish hatcheries, offices, and educational programs vary by season and by region.
