Discover Lory State Park at night under the light of the full moon! The strawberry moon will illuminate the secrets of the park after dark. Learn about the wildlife that come awake during the night and the adaptations that allow them to survive the dark. Sorry, no dogs allowed on night hikes! This is to ensure the safety of your pet, as well as wildlife. Where: Well Gulch Trailhead Difficulty: This is an easy to moderate 1.7 mile hike on a single track dirt trail. We will gain about 300 feet of elevation. Appropriate for ages 10+. What to bring: -Water bottle -Sturdy hiking shoes - Flash light/Headlamp -Layers -Camera This is a free program with a Colorado State Parks Pass (KCW, Annual, or Daily)
