Calling all curious, nature loving kids! Join our Junior Ranger programs! This is a hands-on hour designed to spark a love for the outdoors and build real ranger skills in a fun interactive way. For ages 7-11. Junior Rangers will carry a nature journal to record their observation and exploration of the natural world as we do activities and short hikes. Junior Rangers will learn about the principles of Leave No Trace, and protecting public lands. This program will be led by a real park ranger who has Leave No Trace training! Where: South Eltuck Picnic Area What to bring: water bottle, snack, weather-appropriate clothing, sense of adventure This is a free event with a State Parks Pass (KCW, Annual, or Daily).
