Located on the eastern plains, Jumbo Reservoir State Wildlife Area (SWA) is seeking a Campground Host (individual or pair). Located between the towns of Crook and Sedgwick, Jumbo Reservoir is host to a wide range of outdoor recreation opportunities, including fishing, boating, bird watching, waterskiing, hunting, hiking, nature photography, and much more. The property is 1,703 acres with approximately 100 designated primitive campsites spread out over 4 campgrounds. The water is home to one of the best walleye fisheries in the state and is an excellent place to catch crappie, bluegill, perch, and catfish.

Located on the eastern plains, Tamarack Ranch State Wildlife Area (SWA) is seeking a Volunteer Host (individual or pair). Located by the town of Crook, Tamarack Ranch is a key property for wildlife habitat, and also provides recreation such as hunting, fishing, and birding. The property is 10,696 acres with limited campsites.
Tamarack is a mandatory check in/out site, and requires reservations, a mandatory Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) check station, and is the only campsite for hunters during the fall, other than Jumbo Reservoir.
