Our camp hosts are located at 8 campgrounds and several dispersed camping areas. They perform customer service and light maintenance at their assigned location. Our campgrounds are entirely self-service and spread over 75 miles, so park rangers may only visit once per day, making camp hosts our vital boots-on-the-ground customer service!
Volunteer Responsibilities:
All hosts must have a fully self sufficient camping unit. No hookups of any kind are available.
Looking for 8 hosts for the 2024 season. Pairs, individuals, families with children, and people who are still working/in their careers (e.g. working remotely) are welcome to apply. Hosts are permitted to have pets.
Elevation: Varies form 6,000 to 9,000 ft
For more information, please read the Campground Host Position Description.

Love animals, plants, rocks, or history? Enjoy biking, hiking, or fishing? Good at finding and describing accessibility challenges?
Help us in our goal to create a trails description document. Take a hike on one of our trails, collect data on the things you love to do and look at, and help us create a short description of what others may experience on the trail. (Just a few sentences are all we need!)
Information like trail slope and grade, restroom measurements, and what there is to see or do on a trail can help folks with disabilities (and anyone, really) make decisions about where and how they recreate.
