Campground Host
North Sterling is a water-based recreation area (3,000 acres of water/1,500 acres of land) on Colorado's eastern plains offering a variety of recreation opportunities including fishing (walleye, wiper, catfish), boating, swimming, and hiking.
Volunteer host responsibilities include:
- Posting campground reservations
- Clean campground sites and camper services buildings.
- Assisting at park office when needed
- Light maintenance, such as yard work.
Hosts should be willing to help maintenance staff with campground duties and be comfortable speaking to visitors who have questions regularly.
Elevation:
3,200 ft.
Looking for 2 hosts for the 2025 season.
Pairs, individuals, families with children, and people who are still working/in their careers (e.g. working remotely) are welcome to apply. Hosts are permitted to have pets.
