Campground Host


Volunteer host duties are primarily cleaning and tidying up campsites. Other responsibilities include: providing information to the public, assisting in the campground office when needed, maintenance and cleaning (such as restrooms, cabins, yurts, campsites, and grounds), and other projects based on individual skills.

Amenities: Full hookups are available at host campsite. Cell phone and internet reception in the area is unreliable. Satellite reception is dependent upon set-up/provider.

Site elevation: Please note that this is a mountain park; altitude ranges from 8,200 to 9,200 feet, and these host positions are physically demanding due to type of tasks, terrain, and altitude.

Pairs or individuals are accepted, including those with children, and hosts are permitted to have pets.

Time Commitment:

24-32 hours per week per person. Time commitment is 4-6 months, April - October.
