Description:

Assist Ridgway State Park with maintaining the beauty and safety of the park by helping with building and grounds maintenance, special construction projects, equipment maintenance and repair, and trail support.

Responsibilities:

• Clean grounds and facilities
• Special and seasonal maintenance
• Construction projects
• Vehicle repairs
• Trail maintenance

Elevation: 6800 feet

Looking for 1 host for the 2024 season! Couples/Pairs preferred.  Individuals, families with children, and people who are still working/in their careers (e.g. working remotely) will still be considered. Volunteers are permitted to have pets.

Time Commitment:

Ideally, we are looking for those who can commit from May-Labor Day at minimum. We require 24 hours a week for each individual person in exchange for a free full hook-up campsite.

Volunteer Benefits:

Free full hook-up campsite in exchange for volunteer service, and 3-4 consecutive days off!

Volunteers receive a full hookup campsite and will have access to public land, historical mountain towns, and a large variety of outdoor recreation options. This location is in high demand due to the natural beauty and amazing team atmosphere! Hosts also enjoy informal get-togethers and are an integral part of the park's team and success.

After 48 hours of volunteering, the volunteer will receive a Free Colorado State Parks annual pass.
