Description:
Volunteers have opportunities to help serve at the nature center and assist with after school programs and larger events, including archery and fishing. The goal for Rifle Gap Outdoors is to create awareness of and support for stewardship of the Middle Colorado River Watershed region. The partnership between CPW and the Middle Colorado Watershed Council will provide programs focusing on water quality, the history of the area, outdoor recreation skills, wildlife, plants, and ecosystem services provided within the watershed. The program coordinator can work with volunteers' knowledge, skills, and abilities to find or develop programs suitable to the volunteers' areas of interest and/or expertise.
